I was hoping to give you a picture of our lovely Christmas lights. Every year, we put up greenery interwoven with red berry lights around our house porch and it looks lovely, though I say it myself. But it has been pouring, tipping, tanking down torrential rain for the last three days. Parts of the town are flooded, the pop-up icerink has had to be moved to the Corn Exchange and there has been absolutely no light in which to take pictures of anything. So, here's my Amaryllis, which bloomed a couple of weeks ago, to give you something other than grey mud colour to look at.
Tomorrow we're going to see 'The Hobbit' with the children. Here's hoping there isn't an impassable flood between us and the Dunfermline Odeon!
Happy Christmas everyone - stay warm and dry!
